Privacy Policy

This policy applies to Cash Every Week, also known as Cashew, the iPhone and iPad app developed by Andrew Arrow.
Your data stays on your device
Cash Every Week does not collect personal data from the app. There is no account to create and no backend server storing your transactions.
The transactions, amounts, dates, descriptions, and categories you enter or import are processed and stored on your device to organize your spending and show your totals. We do not receive these records, connect to your bank account, or ask for your bank login credentials.
We do not sell, rent, or share your transaction data, use it for advertising, or track you across other apps and websites.
Imports, exports, and backups
You choose the transaction text or JSON files to import. Those imports are processed on your device. When you export JSON, you choose where to save or share the file. Exported files can contain sensitive financial information, so choose their destination carefully.
Depending on your device settings, app data may be included in iCloud or computer backups. Those copies are controlled by you and your backup provider; we cannot access them. If you save an export to a cloud service or share it with someone, that service or recipient handles the copy under their own practices.
Apple services and purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple may process purchase information and diagnostics under its own policies and your device settings. See App Store & Privacy for details.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your records remain on your device until you remove them or delete the app. Deleting the app removes its local app data; offloading the app keeps that data. Backups and exported files may remain after you delete the app, and you can delete those copies separately through the service or location where you saved them.
Because we do not hold your transaction data, we cannot retrieve, restore, or delete it for you.
Contact and support
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include. We use that information to respond to your request and keep it only as long as needed to handle the conversation or meet legal obligations. Please avoid sending bank credentials or full transaction records.

Children’s privacy
Cash Every Week does not collect personal information from children or other users through the app. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us in a support message, contact us so we can address it.
Changes to this policy
If the app’s privacy practices change, we will update this page and its effective date.
